Morpheus8 is a non-surgical advanced microneedling treatment. When we age, our skin begins to lose elasticity, with wrinkles, lines, and sagging appearing. Using radiofrequency, a Morpheus8 treatment stimulates collagen production to tighten and smooth wrinkles on the face and body.

WHAT IS MORPHEUS8?
MORPHEUS8 is a fractional skin treatment that stimulates collagen production of the underlying layers of the dermis. By targeting the deeper layers of the skin, the building blocks will reorganize themselves in a natural anti-aging process.
HOW DOES MORPHEUS8 WORK?
Morpheus8 combines radio frequency technology, microneedling, and fractional treatments to address a variety of skincare problems. Tiny needles penetrate the skin and heat the tissue to stimulate the production of collagen. What makes Morpheus8 different than other microneedling treatments is the depth the needles penetrate the skin. It is the only treatment that can mold fat under the skin to obtain optimal results. Contouring and refining the subdermal layers will enable a more detailed approach to sculpt the face naturally.
HOW DOES MORPHEUS8 COMPARE TO OTHER MICRONEEDLING TREATMENTS?
The Morpheus 8 is FDA approved as a Subdermal Adipose Remodeling Device, or SARD. This demonstrates a crucial difference between this device and standard microneedling. During a Morpheus 8 treatment, the provider can adjust the ultra-sharp microneedles to a depth of up to 4 millimeters, deeper than any other microneedling device to date.
IS MICRONEEDLING WITH RADIO FREQUENCY PAINFUL?
It is important to us that our patients have access to the treatments they want without the fear of intolerable discomfort. Microneedling with radio frequency is conducted after a topical anesthetic has been applied to the skin. Within approximately fifteen to twenty minutes, the cream desensitizes epidermal nerve endings to reduce the sensations from radio frequency to a mild heat. This also significantly reduces or eliminates the sensation of the microneedles passing over the skin.

WHO IS A CANDIDATE FOR MICRONEEDLING WITH RADIO FREQUENCY?
Many adults are excellent candidates for microneedling with radio frequency. This minimally-invasive technique may be ideal for you if you wish to reduce the appearance of:

WHAT AREAS CAN BE TREATED?
Morpheus8 can be used on any areas that can benefit from sub-dermal renewal. The most commonly treated areas include the lower face and neck. Areas of the face and body that exhibit wrinkles, discoloration or acne scarring are suitable for treatment.
HOW MANY TREATMENTS WILL I NEED?
Optimal results may be achieved in as little as one treatment or through a series of treatments conducted over a period of several weeks, usually requires between 1 to 3 sessions. We can make an accurate estimate of treatment outcome by observing the condition of your skin, including texture, tone, and laxity, during your consultation.
HOW QUICKLY WILL I SEE RESULTS?
Visible results can be seen within a few days, but typically after three weeks the most noticeable results appear. Improvements continue up to three months after treatment.
CAN ANYONE USE MORPHEUS8?
The benefit of Morpheus8’s color blind technology is that it can be used on all skin types. The unique properties allow even darker tones to be treated.
HOW LONG DOES THE MORPHEUS8 TREATMENT TAKE?
The length of the treatment can depend on the individual’s needs. Typically, you will only need 30 to 60 minutes to complete the process.
WHAT IS THE BENEFIT OF RF ENERGY?
RF energy heats the deep layers of the skin in a controlled way to revitalize the collagen. The treatment will improve skin complexion and texture for a more radiant and youthful appearance.
CAN THIS BE USED IN COMBINATION WITH OTHER TREATMENTS?
Yes, Morpheus8 can be used in the same treatment session, or a few days after other treatments. Since patient downtime is minimal, makeup can be applied 1 to 2 days after the treatment. Patients should expect to see micro lesions a few days after treatment and slight redness for up to 1 week depending on treatment parameters.
WHAT KIND OF POST PROCEDURE CARE IS REQUIRED?
Patients should moisturize the treatment area and avoid direct sun exposure. It is also recommended that patients use a good, broad spectrum sunscreen every day. In addition to reducing their future risk of skin cancer, sunscreens also reduce wrinkles and slow the aging process.
ARE THERE ANY SIDE EFFECTS AFTER TREATMENT WITH MORPHEUS8?
Side effects of Morpheus 8 may include transient redness and swelling. It is possible that some patients may experience temporary bruising. The microneedling aspect of treatment may leave tiny points on the skin that crust and flake off, mild tenderness or soreness may result from the absorption of RF energy and can be managed with over-the-counter pain medication. Our team will discuss the side effects you might experience during your consultation and decision regarding the extent of your treatment plan.
WHAT IS RECOVERY LIKE AFTER TREATMENT?
Morpheus8 is a non-invasive procedure so there really will not be any need for downtime or recovery. Most people return to work the day after their treatment. Post-treatment, you may see a bit of pinpoint bleeding from the microneedles. This should only last for a few minutes. Your skin will be red and feel hot like it is a bit sunburned for up to one week. Swelling around the treated areas is also a minor concern but should be resolved within a day or two. A good moisturizer and a broad-spectrum sunscreen are recommended.
